General Secretary

Personable and detail-oriented, Kamla connects with donors and manages contributions. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful General Secretary who is a crucial addition to our ever growing team!

Treasurer

Harjit Lal is truly a valued member of the Biodiversity and Environmental Sustainability - BEST family. He has served as ex Chief Manager in Syndicate Bank and has wide experience in dealing with financial matters. As our Treasurer, Harjit Lal has become a valued asset to our team, and is your go-to source for any question you might have.

Trustee Member

He is key member of our organization and played important role in formation of this Trust. He is an expert in aquatic ecology and has investigated the relationships between environmental drivers and aquatic biota in alpine lakes of Trans-Himalaya. His research interest includes, mountains, rivers, diatoms and wildlife.

Mr Rajneesh Dwevedi is an asset to our organization. He is a trained field biologist and has been  researching  for past 8 years. His primary focus is to study the conservation ecology of birds. He has worked on waterbirds of Keoladeo Ghana National Park earlier and continuing to do so. Recently he has started to work in the Mathura region to focus on the distribution pattern of waterbirds and their relation with humans. His objective is to involve local people to participate in long term monitoring of wildlife and create awareness about nature conservation.

Dr Sumant Kumar is truly a valued member of the Biodiversity and Environmental Sustainability - BEST family. As our air pollution expert, Sumant has become a valued asset to our team, and is your go-to source for any question you might have related with air pollution research in urban areas.

MR. DABE RAM

Program Co-ordinator, Himachal Pradesh-Wing, BEST

He is experienced and well qualified field assistant. He is good in identifying and doing bird survey in Himachal Pradesh. He has leadership qualities and is an asset for our organization. He lives in remote village Bhupen, Raila Sub Tehsil Sainj, Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. He has recently completed Junior Basic Teacher Training and currently help us organising environmental awareness programs in Himachal Pradesh.
